Chocolate covered strawberries

(serves 4-6)
This is not so much a cooking post as a "It's strawberry season, let's celebrate!" post. For a dessert that's simple, elegant, extremely moreish and possibly even a little bit healthy, nothing really beats enrobing strawberries in chocolate. Enrobing is such an awesome term for completing enveloping (smothering even?) something in chocolate, i learnt this term in Food Tech and have never forgotten it since ~ we were watching this video and they were enrobing biscuits... *drool*
We made these for Paul's sister's birthday dinner and i thought i'd try my hand at dark, milk and white chocolate! The better quality the chocolate, the more you will enjoy this i guarantee! I think next time i would definitely use Lindt 70% cocoa for the dark although the Whittakers Dark Ghana was pretty good too (and on special!) I tried to be a bit fancy and use all types of chocolate, but it's probably easier just to stick to you (and your friends') favourite type and you'll whip these up in no time, and get to lick the bowl after!

Prep time: 30 min (including refrigerating them, maybe longer if using a few types of chocolate or wanting to decorate and make extra pretty!)

Ingredients:
3 punnets strawberries
500g chocolate (200g dark chocolate, 200g milk chocolate, 100g white chocolate)

Method:
1. Wash, rinse and pat-dry the strawberries.
2. Line a tray with baking paper.
3. Using the double boil method (on low heat), melt one type of chocolate at a time. Once the chocolate is melted and smooth, remove from the heat, dip the strawberries in and cover.
NB. I found a smooth circle motion with the wrist got the most chocolate and looked the smoothest :)
4. Once you're done, continue with the other type of chocolate(s). Once the tray is filled, refrigerate for 10min.
5. Decorate as you like! We just put the leftover chocolate into a glad wrap bag and cut a hole in the corner... need more practice on this as wasn't sure what type of squiggles would look cool! In the end, we just wrote Nat's name for a personal touch! :D
