So it's only 5 more weeks until we are expecting another member of the family! It's very exciting and I felt very privileged to have so many lovely women gather together to celebrate this new season and blessing in my life. It was a beautiful sunny afternoon in our backyard, with friends and family. Thank you to mum, Li en and Mel who shared about their reflections as a mum. It was great to be reminded that God is always there and His love and grace is abounding, especially when we are struggling we can call on our Lord and Saviour and He will always hear even when we are feeling distant, and that I need to keep praying for wisdom in decision making - to be making choices that will help our family be closer to Jesus rather than like everybody else. Thank you also to Paul, who helped all day with set-up, food preparation and cleaning up, very thankful to God for such a loving and servant-hearted husband :)
The afternoon was also filled with a fun onesie-decorating activity that everyone was very enthusiastic about and writing little messages/predictions to baby. I am looking forward to dressing baby Bogg in these very creative outfits!
