Happy Housewarming

I'm not sure what makes me more edgy: not exercising or not cooking. The last few weeks have been so busy with moving and various commitments, i've hardly had a chance to take some time out and cook. Then there were injuries that went from one joint to the next, and being sick meant i had to force myself to stop exercising. Talk about a recipe for frustration and grumpiness.
So finally last Saturday morning i finally got a chance to try out what i imagine to be my new 'local' route: Maroubra-Coogee, which is beautiful, then cook up a feast for all my good friends. Instant fix. We are all given hobbies for a reason.
Lunch
Strawberry bubbly to start
Wonton tarts with mixed mushrooms
Cherry Tomato, Haloumi and Basil Stacks
San Choy Bow
Grilled Pancetta-wrapped Asparagus
Spinach Dip
Quinoa Salad with Poached Chicken, Radicchio, Roasted Leek and Cherry Tomatoes

Afternoon tea (in case anyone was still hungry):
Sopressa, Irish cheddar from the Hunter, and Camembert platter
Sangria with swimming fish and heart ice-cubes!

Thanks for the help with the food photos!
Dinner
Pipette rigate con Salsiccia, Radicchio e Pomodorini
Spinach Noodle Salad with Squid
Lemon tarts by Lil, and delicious dessert wine to finish the night!
Thanks for coming everyone!
