Chocolate Pear Filo tart with Toasted Almonds

(serves 2)
Great way to finish the night and the rest of the filo pastry! Perfect with a glass of Frangelico, apple juice and lime for dessert! Super easy and quick once you've got the filo out!

Prep time: 10 min
Cooking time: 10 min

Ingredients:
1 packham pear
50g milk or dark chocolate
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp brown sugar
3 sheets filo pastry
handful of toasted almonds (or slivered almonds)
Spray oil or 20g melted butter

Method:
1. Lay out 1 sheet of filo pastry on a dry surface, then either spray oil or brush with butter. Top with the next sheet of filo, and brush with butter and repeat with the 3rd sheet.
2. Cut the sheet in half, then put into a square or circular tray. Spray oil then put the other half on top (so 6 layers of filo in total).
3. Soften the chocolate in the microwave and then smooth onto filo.
NB. This usually takes a few attempts at 20sec intervals. Be careful not to burn it, it only needs to be just melted!
4. Peel the pear and cut into quarters. Toss in the cinnamon and brown sugar mix, then cut into thin slices and place on top of the chocolate.
5. Place the filo tart in the oven for 8-10 minutes, or until brown.
6. Remove from the oven and place on a cooling rack for 5 minutes.
7. Serve topped with finely sliced almonds.
