Cooking class in Vietnam

It feels like such a long time ago now, but i guess it was only 4 months ago that we were getting married and off on our honeymoon! We had an amazing time, the highlight was just spending some quality time amongst the tranquil rice field terraces in Sapa, staying in the beautiful and serene Topas Ecolodge
Another highlight was in the picturesque, but somewhat overly touristy town of Hoi an. This was our last stop in Vietnam where we did a much-awaited cooking class with Gioan!

The menu
Deep fried spring rolls
Banana flower blossom / green papaya salad
Traditional beef pho
Fish wrapped in banana leaf
Super full at the end, especially trying to eat so many dishes in the 35˚ heat! Was a great cooking class where we had the chance to make some of our new and old favourite Vietnamese dishes! Have tried most of these back home, will blog about them in good time when i have mastered them!
