Spanish Tapas Fest!

Clockwise (from top left): Paella, Patatas Bravas, Chorizo, Garlic mushrooms
A great night in at Amy's with tasty food and good (though somewhat random) company. The theme was Spanish Tapas and was a night for experimentation! Everything turned out quite well despite a mix of disasters on the way ~ a bit of broken glass, upturning of a tray of potatoes but no fires so all was well!
Good effort for a Friday night after a busy week for everyone!
On the menu was:
Pan-fried Chorizo
Garlic mushrooms
Truss Tomato and Spanish Onion Salad
White Sangria (thanks Carolina!) and maybe 3 bottles of delicious red wine were finished during this festive event but unfortunately my hands were pre-occupied and forgot to take photos of the sangria ~ next time!

The delicious meal was followed by a delicious dessert made by Anne - slightly salty choc-coconut truffle balls, served with Amy's famous caramelised walnuts and vanilla ice-cream. mmMmm.. there is always room for dessert, especially when it's this good!
