I love being Australian, and even more so, i love having a day off! Granted i'm not even working properly, but hey, if the rest of the country is having the day off, why should i study??
Sleep-in, run at the beach - with the shark siren at Maroubra (rather exciting, but didn't see any action), and Laser skirmish (felt like i was 15 again) filled the day.
Then of course, a big delicious dinner whilst watching the tennis at my place with the girls (and 1 boy)!

Pilau: Spiced rice with cinnamon and cardamon
For dessert, Li en made a delicious pavlova with home-made meringue swirls - very Australian! I also hand-beat cream until it was almost clotted - strange. But oh well, you can't tell and it still tastes good!
Thanks for a great night girls, and for helping out with everything (from prep, cooking, setting up, washing up, putting away furniture)!!
