Chip and healthy dont usually go together, but in this case it's true! This seems to be the most basic way of using this interestingly nutritious and diverse vegetable, only a light drizzle of olive oil, salt and pepper and a little bit of flavour from the five spice (or even without i have read) ~ totally a healthy chip! Yummo!
Prep time: 2 min
Cooking time: 15-20 min
6-8 kale leaves
1 tsp five spice powder
salt and pepper
olive oil
Method:
1. Preheat the oven to 180˚C.
2. Rinse and dry the kale leaves. Cut off the steams and cut in half (if large leaves).
3. Toss with the five spice powder, salt, pepper and olive oil.
4. Bake for 15-20min until kale leaves are dry and crispy!
