Sumac Salmon Steak

(serves 1-2)
Salmon is so delicious and full of omega-3 fatty acids! I'm not very good with fish, but it seems the simpler the better when it comes to seafood so you can taste the 'freshness' of it. This was just a little experiment with my new favourite spice that worked out to be a very tasty combo!
Prep time: 15 min
Cooking time: 5-10 min

Ingredients:
Salmon steak
Sumac (purple lemon-zesty spice)
1 lemon
Salt
Pepper
Olive oil

Method:
1. Clean salmon and pat dry
2. Sprinkle salt, pepper, sumac on salmon on both sides.
3. Coat with lemon juice and olive oil, and let it sit for 10min at room temperature.
4. Heat non-stick pan, and add salmon. NB. No need to add oil, it will cook in the oil used to marinate it. Keep it on one side for 2-3 minutes to allow oil from fish to release out before turning.
5. Cook on other side for 3-4 min to have it medium-rare, or a little longer if prefer cooked through.
6. Serve warm, with salad.
